If you don't like the way you feel...CHANGE THE WAY YOU EAT!

We have all heard the phrase "You are what you eat". A nutritionist might argue, "You are what you can absorb". Either way what you digest-- be it food, an emotion, or a belief--becomes part of who you are. It benefits us to remain conscious of what we put into our bodies.  What we choose to think, eat and feel directly affects us on a biochemical and physiological level.

What we choose to eat is one of the most powerful ways to regain and/or maintain wellness. Unfortunately, many of us overlook this very simple truth. We reach for a pill to mask the symptoms and continue to eat the same foods that created the adverse symptoms in the first place.  All too often modern medicine instructs us to pop a pill, cut out an organ, or suffer exposure to harmful chemicals meant to "cure" all the while ignoring the reason we developed the illness in the first place, icluding the important role that food plays in our health. This can be dangerous, as the detrimental effects our food choices create are silenced by a pharmaceutical (albeit temporarily) allowing us to continue abusing our bodies with these destructive food choices--overtime wreaking havoc on our bodies, mostly our digestive system. The solution? Eat real food! Cook at home as much as possible. Eat processed food as little as possible. Lower processed sugar intake. Increase fiber rich foods. Nourish the body with nutritionally dense food! This doesn't have to come at the expense of taste either. Good, healthy food can taste amazing and SHOULD, otherwise why would we want to eat it?

In my own life, I cook about 90% of the food I eat. I LOVE to cook. I love creating powerfully nutrtious and wonderfully delicious meals. I even love grocery shopping and all the preparation that goes into creating a meal. Clean Up?? I don't love so much but it's all part of it and a small price to pay for the enormous benefits we receive when eating clean food made with whole, organic, non GMO ingredients and of course, love. It is my honor to either get you started on the path to creating meals, or to jump in and do it for you. Either way you'll be eating to cultivate wellness and at the same time loving every bite you take!

Let food be thy medicine.
